You are all invited to join the Sutherland Shire CC club to compete in the Auscycling Esport Series on MyWhoosh
Starting on June 9, the AusCycling Club Esports Series will run on Tuesday nights for six consecutive weeks in conjunction with the MyWhoosh Cycling Esports League (CEL).
The Club Series will be immediately followed by the AusCycling Masters Esports National Championships on Tuesday, July 21, where national titles will be awarded to individuals in each age category.
In order to be eligible to race the National Championships, riders will need to complete at least two rounds of the Club Series.
There’s an extra sweetener thanks to event partners JetBlack: two lucky participants in the Masters National Championships – one man and one woman – will win a JetBlack smart trainer.
How to join the AusCycling National Club Esports Series
- Sign in to MyWhoosh
- Go to AusCycling | MyWhooshInfo and click “Join Club”. Then, search for for Sutherland Shire CC to join the club.
- Head to the MyWhoosh Cycling Esports League (CEL) page for further instructions and technical information, including Categorisation and points structure.
- Well 7:30pm AEST on race day, boot up the MyWhoosh app and join the correct race for your category.
Join the Correct Category
Check your Rider Profile has the correct details and note under your profile the FTP. Now get your calculator out and divide your FTP by your weight to get your W/Kg.
E.G. Weight 85kg and FTP 272 (272/85 =3.2 W/Kg) so Category 4
- Category 1: FTP > 4.5 W/kg
- Category 2: FTP : 4.0 – 4.49 W/kg
- Category 3: FTP : 3.60 – 3.99 W/kg
- Category 4: FTP : 3.10 – 3.59 W/kg
- Category 5: FTP : 2.50 – 3.09 W/kg
- Category 6: FTP : 2.49 W/kg or Not Categorised yet

Joining the events
Open the MyWhoosh app and navigate to the Events page in-game.
Browse the schedule and select;-
“CEL & AusCycling Club Esports Series – Cat x” that matches your category and schedule
On race day, a Participate button will appear in the app’s pre-race menu 90 minutes before the event start time.
