2023 marks the 65th Anniversary of the Sutherland Shire Cycling Club. To celebrate this occasion, a book on the history of the club has been produced:

This 95 page book, liberally illustrated, examines the development of the club from the time that bicycle club racing was introduced to the Shire by publican and sportsman Mr. Ted Boyle in 1908. 

After several name changes and racing formats, today’s club continues with regular racing at the Waratah Park circuit.

This book discusses many aspects of Shire history and the club cyclists and families that made that history. For the launch we return to the historic Boyle’s hotel where it all began.
